Adventures in the Big Thicket!

If you like to read stories to children, you've gotta check out this book!

A very close friend of mine, Kira, has the coolest collections of children's books. She loaned me this book to read to the kids, and I tell ya! I took me right back home to the south. I started reading and found my accent...that southern draw...whatever you want to call it creeping into our story. The stories in the book are sooo cute, and it seems that the author tries to fit every slang term and phrase that he can into the stories. As a mommy, I found it rather amusing.
